Samsung today revealed a brand-new phone and it appears that lagging behind HTC, iPhone and surprisingly Nokia phones in regards to appealing design has forced Samsung to drop the plastic chassis and to include a metallic frame in brand-new Samsung Alpha. The phones is just 7mm thin which makes it thinner than iPhone 5S. It does not include a complete metal case, it provides a metal frame, curved edges, and a dimpled and soft rubber-plastic back, weighing just 115 grams.
Alpha will show up with Android KitKAt (4.4.4) rather than the upcoming Android L. It’ll feature Samsung’s own UI pinches and will have S Health, Ultra-Power Saving mode, Finger Print Scanner and Personal mode.
Pricing is yet not announced, Samsung informed that it must be offered from the beginning of September. The readily available colors for Alpha will be Charcoal Black, Spectacular White, Frosted Gold, Sleek Silver and Scuba Blue.
